The stage for adventure is Miar City, a major metropolis in the Kalos region that also appeared in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. This city is undergoing an urban redevelopment plan aimed at achieving coexistence between people and Pokémon. The Wild Zone, a district developed using the latest technology, is home to wild Pokémon. Visiting Miar City as a tourist, the protagonist chooses one partner from Chikorita, Torchic, or Treecko. Together with their companions, they tackle various events and incidents unfolding throughout the city.

▼ Challenge the “Z-A Royal” at Night
When night falls, areas called “Battle Zones,” enclosed by red holograms, appear throughout the city. There, from sunset to dawn, the “ZA Royale” takes place daily, where Trainers compete fiercely in Pokémon battles. Participants are assigned a “Rank” from Z to A, starting everyone at Z Rank. Reaching A Rank grants the title of strongest and honor, along with the ability to have one wish granted.

▼Series First: Real-Time Combat Where Pokémon and Trainers Move Together In battle, Pokémon and Trainers move together. Trainers issue commands for Pokémon to unleash moves. Beyond type advantages, new gameplay elements include timing Pokémon switches and move selections, move range, and execution speed. Experience Pokémon battles like never before.

▼“Mega Evolution” holds the key to this game. In Miarre City, Mega Evolution—an evolution beyond evolution—is frequently observed. Certain Pokémon can Mega Evolve, temporarily unleashing their hidden power to achieve a power-up surpassing normal evolution. Mastering how to utilize this Mega Evolution is also crucial to victory.
