This watch is a collaboration with the watch manufacturer SEIKO to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the TV broadcast of “Super Dimension Fortress MACROSS”.

This project is based on a diver's watch-style model with a bezel, which has an appealing and timeless design. The design is inspired by the coloring of the VF-1S, the Valkyrie piloted by ace pilot “Roy Focker”. The “VF-1S” mark and his striking personal color “yellow” are incorporated throughout the watch.

The “Roy Focker” Valkyrie “VF-1S” skull mark is casually placed at the 6 o'clock position in a coloring that blends in with the dial.
The dial is colored yellow until the 8 o'clock position (40 minutes), a design that reflects the 40th anniversary.
The “40” on the bezel is colored yellow to commemorate the 40th anniversary.
The mark of the United Earth Forces is placed at the 9 o'clock position in a subdued tone. The “U.N. SPACY” is also placed in a design that flanks the mark.
The back cover is engraved with the MACROSS 40th anniversary logo and serial number.
